This is probably the most photographed statue in Jacksonville.
I met up with Jay, Jessica & their dog Abby at Riverside Memorial Park. It's in one of my favorite parts of town- Riverside, where you have the historic district. There are tons of cool old homes and lots of character everywhere you look. I have always had dreams of buying an old house in the area and fixing it up. About 10 years ago the rest of Jacksonville had the same idea, so there aren't a lot of old fixer-uppers around anymore. I never tire of riding the tree lined streets and checking out the homes here.
We had a great afternoon of weather when we met up. Not too cool and a gorgeous sunset. Abby is probably the most energetic dog I have ever encountered. I had a lot of great ideas for things that Abby could do on her first photo shoot. She quickly let me know that she had other things in mind. She wanted action shots! We were able to meet in the middle and get some family shots her parents wanted and some action shots where she could show off her stuff.
It was wonderful meeting you guys! I also do engagement sessions... hint, hint. :)

Wow! How cool would that be if he called you to be present when he pops the question so he could have the whole moment documented in the art you create?
