potty training is serious

a couple of days ago jett looked at me and said "stinky" and waved his hand in front of his face. this is what i do to him when he has a poopy diaper- ha! i just laughed but then i realized he might be telling me he had a poopy diaper. so, i checked and sure enough, he did. i told him we had to change and he ran to his changing table and waited for me to lift him up. this was about the 3rd sign that it was time to start potty training, so i headed to Target.

i bought a Fisher-Price Fun to Learn potty chair. after installing the batteries and hooking up the wires -ha!- we set it in the bathroom so jett could check it out. which he did by lifting the seat a million times to make the lights go on & off, listening to the voices and songs, turning the tp roll, flushing... after about 15 minutes of this my husband decided that this was too fun and that potty training is serious business. besides, who wants their kid to be constantly playing with an item that holds pee & poop? haha.

so, back to target i go. :)
