self portrait with a twist

yesterday i posted my self portrait on flickr (a photographer’s worldwide online community) for day 29 of my “365 days” project. (the “365 days” project is where you post a self portrait every day for a year.) not only was my photo chosen for Explore (the term for flickr’s 500 most interesting photos every day) where it was ranked as high as #4 among the thousands of photos uploaded that day, but Utata (a photographer’s organization) chose it for the front page of their website on August 27, 2007. i am so honored to have so many people appreciate my art. in the words of sally field, “you like me. you really, really like me.”
